Birth of design
Inspiration
From a young age, I saw the world in shapes and shades, designs and color. Wanting to recreate things I observed and capture the spirit of the moment. Over the years I’ve developed the skills necessary to create and capture the world I know around me. With a brush or Apple Pencil I’m able to release the abstract thoughts of my mind. A camera giving me the possibility to capture a moment in time and a vision to begin it all together.
Education of design
Education
In our youth, recess was the favorite period for most students in school. For me, it was art class. Art gave a chance to escape and lose myself in the day’s project while exercising.
Ninth grade marked the first decal I designed, the first shirt I screen printed, and the beginning of my photography obsession. A few short years later I graduated early to accept a job with Decals and More/FASTSIGNS as a graphic designer.
After a year of hands on experience I decided to further my eduction and go back to college. Working full time while being a full time students, I graduated summa cum laude with an associates degree in Graphic Arts from Kaplan University.
the future of design
CONCEPTUALIZE
Upon completing college I moved to Wilmington, NC where I continued to work remote with the same company ago with a few other jobs. One of my titles was lead design and production for a military apparel company, shipping to bases world wide.
Moving back to Pennsylvania, I accepted a position with FASTSIGNS full time again as the Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer.
With over 15 years of experience in the graphic design industry, I am looking for the new challenge, the next adventure in this journey of life.
